Cookies Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device, so that it can recognise you or remember something about you — a preference, a signed-in session, or what you looked at last time.
2. This website sets no cookies
stingrayboxing.com.au sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tags. Nothing we put on this site follows you between pages or between visits, and we store nothing in your browser to read later.
Even the fonts are served from this site itself rather than from a font service, so nothing is fetched from an advertising or analytics company to render a page.
There is one exception, and it is described in full in the next section: the home page loads a spam check from Cloudflare for the enquiry form. On that page, Cloudflare does learn that a browser at your IP address loaded it. The privacy policy, cookies policy and 404 page load nothing from anyone but us.
3. Third parties
The enquiry form runs a spam check from Cloudflare. On the home page only, the form loads a small script from Cloudflare called Turnstile, which works out whether you are a person rather than a bot before we accept your enquiry. To do that, your browser contacts Cloudflare directly, so Cloudflare receives your IP address and some technical details about your browser. Cloudflare states that Turnstile is not used for advertising or for tracking you across websites. It runs only on the enquiry form, and only when your browser has JavaScript switched on — with JavaScript off it never loads, and the form shows our email address so you can write to us directly instead. What Cloudflare does with what it receives is covered by Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy policy, not by this one.
The other third parties are the ones you choose to go to. Our “Open in Google Maps” link takes you to Google, and once you are there Google sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy and cookie practices, not ours. The same will be true of any social media pages we link to once those links are on the site.
4. Managing cookies anyway
There is little here for you to manage, but every browser lets you review, block or delete cookies for any website and clear the ones already stored — look for “Privacy”, “Cookies” or “Site settings” in your browser’s settings, or use its built-in help, which will describe the exact steps for the version you are running. Blocking cookies broadly can stop other websites from working properly. On this site it will make no difference to reading anything; if you also block scripts from Cloudflare, the spam check will not load and the enquiry form falls back to opening your own email app, which still works.
5. Contact us
If anything here is unclear, or you would like to know more about how we handle your details, email us at mike@stingrayboxing.com.au or read our Privacy Policy.
If this ever changes — if we add something to the site that does set a cookie, for example — we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
